RB Leipzig vs Bayern München Match Preview


Week 6 features a match on Saturday Sep 30th, where RB Leipzig plays host to Bayern München in a meeting of these two Bundesliga teams. RB Leipzig should be reasonably happy with their recent performance, earning 17 points in their last 10 matches, while in their last match, 1st placed Bayern München, recorded a 4-0 shutout win against Preußen Münster. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored the first goal for Bayern München in the 9th minute, then Konrad Laimer added another in the 40th minute on a feed from Leon Goretzka In the end, Preußen Münster couldn’t muster any offence and Bayern München ran away with the shutout win. With 20 points in their last 10 matches Bayern München should be reasonably happy with their performance.

This match will be the first time these two teams face eachother this season. Last season RB Leipzig won the head to head battle with 1 win.

Harry Kane has been on a hot streak lately. In the last 5 games, the attacker has scored 5 goals for Bayern München. Both Xavi Simons and Benjamin Šeško have been the hottest scorers for RB Leipzig in the last five each having scored 3 goals

Marco Rose’s RB Leipzig squad will be without Amadou Haidara, Lukas Klostermann, Daniel Olmo, Willi Orbán, El Chadaille Bitshiabu and Timo Schlieck, while Bayern München will be without Serge Gnabry, Manuel Neuer, Matthijs De Ligt and Hulsmann.
