Newcastle United vs Liverpool Match Preview

Mohamed Salah struck first for Liverpool in the 36th minute, then Cody Gakpo added another in the 49th minute In the end, Everton couldn’t muster any offence and Liverpool ran away with the shutout win. Liverpool is looking for direction having 5 win and 4 losses in their last 10 matches.

In their last match on Wednesday Aug 31st, Liverpool won by a score of 2 to 1. Alexander Isak scored the first goal for Newcastle United in the 38th minute, then Roberto Firmino tied it up for Liverpool in the 61st minute But fortunately they were able to complete the comaback in the 98th minute on a goal by Fabio Carvalho.

Liverpool is having problems scoring lately. Their top scorers, Harvey Elliott and Cody Gakpo each only have 1 goal in their last 5. Newcastle United hasn’t been successful in netting any goals lately. Their top scorers in the last five matches are Bruno Guimarães and Alexander Isak, and they each have 1 goal

Alexander Isak, Javi Manquillo, Emil Krafth, Matt Targett and Paul Dummett are unavailable to play for Eddie Howe’s team, while Jürgen Klopp’s squad will be without Luis Díaz, Roberto Firmino, Virgil van Dijk, Arthur, Thiago Alcântara and Diogo Jota.
