Luton Town vs Swansea City Match Preview

Mar 4th features a match where Luton Town will host Swansea City in a clash of these two extremely mismatched Championship teams. Weather on match day is looking like a cloudy and cold day, with daytime temperatures of only 4 degrees, so hopefuly the match makes up for the weather. In their last match, 6th placed Luton Town, recorded a 2-2 draw against Millwall. Zian Flemming scored the first goal for Millwall in the 4th minute, then Tom Bradshaw added another in the 52nd minute on a feed from George Honeyman. With 18 points in their last 10 matches Luton Town should be reasonably happy with their performance, while swansea City is fresh off their 1-1 draw against Rotherham United. Joel Piroe scored the first goal for Swansea City in the 42nd minute, then Chiedozie Ogbene got the equalizer for Rotherham United in the 52nd minute on a feed from Shane Ferguson earning them at least the one point. Swansea City is looking for direction having 3 win and 5 losses in their last 10 matches.

On the 20th of August, Swansea City hosted Luton Town in their last match together. Luton Town was victorious by a score of 2 to 0. Allan Campbell scored the first goal for Luton Town in the 14th minute, then Carlton Morris added another in the 72nd minute on a feed from Cameron Jerome At the end of 90 a dissapointed Swansea City couldn’t manage to score, and Luton Town took the shutout win.

Callumm Connolly and Matthew Sorinola are the top scorers for Swansea City in the last 5 matches, but unfortunately they only have one goal. It’s hard to imagine having success with those stats. Carlton Morris has been the most effective weapon for Luton Town lately. The English attacker has netted two goals in his last five matches.
