Brentford vs Nottingham Forest Match Preview

Week 34 features a match on Sat Apr 29th, where Brentford and Nottingham Forest will play a match in London in a meeting of these two extremely mismatched Premier League teams. The game day is forecasted to be a cloudy and cool day, with daytime temperatures of only 16 degrees, a perfect day for football. In their last match, Brentford recorded a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa. Ivan Toney struck first for Brentford in the 65th minute on a feed from Bryan Mbeumo, then Douglas Luiz got the equalizer for Aston Villa in the 87th minute on a feed from Emiliano Buendía earning them at least the one point. Brentford looks to improve on their recent performance, having earned only 10 points in their last 10 matches, while nottingham Forest sits at 19th place in the tables. In their last match they recorded a 2-3 loss against Liverpool. Diogo Jota scored the first goal for Liverpool in the 47th minute, then in the 51st minute, Morgan Gibbs-White sent in a beautiful pass which was converted by Neco Williams , but fortunately for Liverpool it didn’t end there. They added more goals to be able to earn themselves the win. They’re hoping to improve on their recent performance, having earned only 3 points in their last 10 matches.

Brentford and Nottingham Forest last played eachother at the The City Ground on Nov 5th. Nottingham Forest and Brentford battled to a 2-2 draw. Morgan Gibbs-White struck first for Nottingham Forest in the 20th minute, but Bryan Mbeumo got the equalizer for Brentford in the 3rd minute of the first half’s stoppage time .

Brennan Johnson and Orel Mangala are the top scorers for Nottingham Forest in the last 5 matches, but unfortunately they only have one goal. It’s hard to imagine having success with those stats. Ivan Toney has been the most prolific scorer on Brentford in his last five matches with three goals

Thomas Frank’s Brentford squad will be without Kristoffer Ajer, Frank Onyeka, Thomas Strakosha, Keane Lewis-Potter, Christian Nørgaard and Pontus Jansson, while Scott Mckenna, Chris Wood, Moussa Niakhaté, Giulian Biancone, Serge Aurier, Cheikhou Kouyaté, Willy Boly, Ryan Yates, Dean Henderson and Omar Richards are unavailable to play for Steve Cooper’s team.
