Augsburg vs Borussia M’gladbach Match Preview


Week 1 brings us a match on Aug 19th where Augsburg will host Borussia M’gladbach in a meeting of these two closely matched Bundesliga teams. Weather on match day is looking like a cloudy but warm day with daytime temperatures of 23 degrees, which should make for a nice day for football. Augsburg sits at 6th place in the tables. Franck Honorat struck first for Borussia M’gladbach in the 21st minute on a feed from Tomáš Čvančara, then Nathan Ngoumou added another in the 26th minute on a feed from Alassane Pléa In the end, Bersenbrück couldn’t muster any offence and Borussia M’gladbach ran away with the shutout win. Borussia M’gladbach is looking for direction having 1 win and 0 losses in their last 10 matches.

This will be the first match for these two teams against eachother this season. Last season these teams were evenly matched with 1 win each.
