Birkirkara vs Zebbug Rangers Match Preview

In this week 15 match, on Sat Jan 7th, Birkirkara plays host to Zebbug Rangers in a clash of these two mismatched Premier League teams. Weather on match day is looking like a cloudy and cool day, with daytime temperatures of only 14 degrees, a perfect day for football. 4th placed Birkirkara is fresh off their 0-1 loss against Sirens. Pereira Muniz scored the first goal for Sirens in the 36th minute, and that single goal was all that was necessary as neither team could manage any more scoring In the end, Birkirkara couldn’t muster any offence and Sirens ran away with the shutout win. Birkirkara is looking for direction having earned 13 points in their last 10 matches, while in their last match, Zebbug Rangers recorded a 2-3 loss against Balzan. Matheus scored the first goal for Balzan in the 25th minute, but Charles Lokolingoy got the equalizer for Zebbug Rangers in the 36th minute , but luckily for Balzan it didn’t end there. They were able to keep scoring to earn themselves the victory. They’re hoping to improve on their recent performance, having lost 8 of their last 10.

On the 27th of August, Zebbug Rangers hosted Birkirkara at the Zebbug Ground in their last match together. Birkirkara won by a score of 2 to 1.
