Rayo Vallecano vs Cádiz Match Preview

In this week 11 match on Oct 22nd, Rayo Vallecano and Cádiz will play a match in Madrid in a clash of these two extremely mismatched La Liga teams. Weather on match day is looking like a cloudy and cool day, with daytime temperatures of only 14 degrees, which should make for a nice day for football. In their last match, 10th placed Rayo Vallecano, recorded a 1-1 draw against Atlético Madrid. Morata struck first for Atlético Madrid in the 20th minute, but Radamel Falcao got the equalizer for Rayo Vallecano in the 2nd minute of the second half’s stoppage time earning Rayo Vallecano at least a draw. Rayo Vallecano is looking for direction having 3 win and 4 losses in their last 10 matches, while in their last match, Cádiz recorded a 1-1 draw against Girona. Fernandez Iglesias struck first for Cádiz in the 46th minute on a feed from Álvaro Negredo, then Cristhian Ricardo Stuani Curbelo tied it up for Girona in the 11th minute of the second half’s stoppage time earning Girona at least a draw. They’re hoping to improve on their recent performance, having lost 5 of their last 10.

This match will be the first time these two teams face eachother this season. Last season these teams were evenly matched with 1 win apiece.

Álvaro Negredo and Lucas Pérez are the top scorers for Cádiz in the last 5 matches, but unfortunately they only have one goal. It’s hard to imagine having success with those stats. Rayo Vallecano’s top weapon lately has been Radamel Falcao, who has two goals in the last five matches

Rayo Vallecano will be without Oscar Trejo and Andrés Martín, while Sergio González Soriano’s squad will be without Álvaro Giménez, Jon Garrido and David Gil Mohedano.
