On Sat May 28th, in week 15, Suwon will host Ulsan in a clash of the K-League 1. The game day is forecasted to be a cloudy but warm day with daytime temperatures of 25 degrees, which should make for a nice day for football. In their last match, Suwon recorded a 0-1 loss against Jeonbuk Motors. Kim Jin-Gyu struck first for Jeonbuk Motors in the 72nd minute on a feed from Kim Moon-Hwan, and with that single goal the scoring was complete. Neither team could manage anything else In the end, Suwon couldn’t muster any offence and Jeonbuk Motors ran away with the shutout win. Suwon is looking for direction having earned 11 points in their last 10 matches, while ulsan is fresh off their 2-0 shutout win against Sangju Sangmu. Leonardo scored the first goal for Ulsan in the 16th minute, then Yun Il-Lok added another in the 37th minute At the end of 90 a dissapointed Sangju Sangmu couldn’t manage to score, and Ulsan took the shutout win. Ulsan is on a hot streak lately, having won 7 of their last 10 matches.
In their last match together, in Ulsan Munsu Football Stadium, Ulsan won by a score of 2 to 1. Kim Seung-Jun struck first for Suwon in the 11th minute, then Kim got the equalizer for Ulsan in the 42nd minute on a feed from Young-Woo Seol But luckily in the 67th minute, they were able to complete the comback with a goal by Valeri Qazaishvili.
Ulsan is fortunate enough to have Leonardo in top form. In the last five matches the attacker has scored four goals. Lee Seung-Woo and Kim Hyun are the top scorers for Suwon in the last five matches, but unfortunately they only have one goal. It’s hard to imagine having success with those stats.
