On Sunday May 22nd, Varberg BoIS hosts Degerfors at Påskbergsvallen in a meeting of these two Allsvenskan teams. The game day is forecasted to be a cloudy and cool day, with daytime temperatures of only 12 degrees, which should make for a nice day for football. 12th placed Varberg BoIS is fresh off their 1-1 draw against IFK Göteborg. Hosam Aiesh struck first for IFK Göteborg in the 31st minute on a feed from Marcus Berg, then Alexander Johansson tied it up for Varberg BoIS in the 70th minute earning them at least the one point. They’re hoping to improve on their recent performance, having lost 4 of their last 10, while 14th placed Degerfors is fresh off their 2-1 win against Helsingborg. Viljormur Davidsen struck first for Degerfors on an own goal in the 10th minute, then Abdelrahman Saidi added another in the 78th minute. They’re hoping to improve on their recent performance, having lost 6 of their last 10.
These two teams have not yet played each other this season. Last season these teams were evenly matched with 2 draws apiece.
Degerfors is glad to have Abdelrahman Saidi in top form. In the last 5 matches the midfielder has scored four goals. Varberg BoIS is having problems scoring lately. Their top scorers, Jaheem Burke and Alexander Johansson each only have 1 goal in their last 5.
