In a weekend match in week 13, on Saturday May 14th, Vissel Kobe and Sagan Tosu will play a match in Kobe in a clash of the J-League. The game day is forecasted to be a cloudy and cool day, with daytime temperatures of only 17 degrees, a perfect day for football. Vissel Kobe sits at 18th place in the tables. In their last match they recorded a 0-2 loss against Gamba Osaka. Kwon Kyung-Won struck first for Gamba Osaka in the 81st minute, then Wellington Silva added another in the 1st minute of the second half’s stoppage time At the end of 90 a dissapointed Vissel Kobe couldn’t manage to score, and Gamba Osaka took the shutout win. Vissel Kobe looks to improve on their recent performance, having earned only 4 points in their last 10 matches, while sagan Tosu is fresh off their 1-0 shutout win against Tokyo. Yuki Horigome struck first for Sagan Tosu in the 81st minute, and that single goal was all that was necessary as neither team could manage any more scoring In the end, Tokyo couldn’t muster any offence and Sagan Tosu ran away with the shutout win. With 17 points in their last 10 matches Sagan Tosu should be reasonably happy with their performance.
These two teams have not yet played each other this season, so it will be interesting how the match turns out. Last season Vissel Kobe won the head to head battle with 1 win.
Sagan Tosu is having problems scoring lately. Their top scorers, Yuji Ono and Nanasei Iino each only have 1 goal in their last five. Vissel Kobe hasn’t been successful in netting any goals lately.
