Rayo Vallecano vs Real Sociedad Match Preview

Week 34 features a match on Sun May 1st, where Rayo Vallecano hosts Real Sociedad at Estadio De Vallecas in a clash of these two closely matched La Liga teams. The game day is forecasted to be a cloudy but warm day with daytime temperatures of 21 degrees, which should make for a nice day for football. In their last match, 11th placed Rayo Vallecano, recorded a 1-0 shutout win against Barcelona. Garcia Rivera scored the first goal for Rayo Vallecano in the 7th minute, and that was all the excitement the two teams could muster In the end, Barcelona couldn’t muster any offence and Rayo Vallecano ran away with the shutout win. They’re hoping to improve on their recent performance, having lost 5 of their last 10, while in their last match, Real Sociedad recorded a 0-1 loss against Barcelona. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the first goal for Barcelona in the 11th minute, and with that single goal the scoring was complete. Neither team could manage anything else At the end of 90 a dissapointed Real Sociedad couldn’t manage to score, and Barcelona took the shutout win. With 17 points in their last 10 matches Real Sociedad should be reasonably happy with their performance.

In their last match together, in Reale Arena, Real Sociedad was victorious by a score of 1 to 0. Mikel Oyarzabal scored the first goal for Real Sociedad in the 68th minute from the penalty spot, and with that single goal the scoring was complete. Neither team could manage anything else In the end, Rayo Vallecano was frustrated by Real Sociedad’s defence and couldn’t put any tallies on the board. Real Sociedad ended the match with the shutout victory.

Alexander Isak and Robin Le Normand are the top scorers for Real Sociedad in the last 5 matches, but unfortunately they only have one goal. It’s hard to imagine having success with those stats. Rayo Vallecano’s most prolific scorer has been Sergi Guardiola. He has netted three goals over the last 5 matches

Rayo Vallecano will be without Martín Merquelanz and Esteban Ariel Saveljich, while Real Sociedad will be without Barrenetxea, Mikel Oyarzabal and Nacho Monreal.
