Nottingham Forest vs Reading Match Preview

On Mar 12th, Reading and Nottingham Forest will play a match in Nottingham in a Championship match. The game day is forecasted to be a cloudy and cool day, with daytime temperatures of only 8 degrees, making for an unpleasant day. 10th placed Nottingham Forest is fresh off their 2-1 win against Huddersfield Town. Tom Lees scored the first goal for Huddersfield Town in the 13th minute, then in the 29th minute, Ryan Yates sent in a beautiful pass which was converted by Sam Surridge Finally they completed the comback in the 37th minute on a goal by Ryan Yates to cap off a wild match. With 21 points in their last 10 matches Nottingham Forest should be reasonably happy with their performance, while in their last match, 21st placed Reading, recorded a 0-1 loss against Millwall. Jake Cooper struck first for Millwall in the 37th minute on a feed from Jed Wallace, and that single goal was all that was necessary as neither team could manage any more scoring In the end, Reading was frustrated by Millwall’s defence and couldn’t put any tallies on the board. Millwall ended the match with the shutout victory. They’re hoping to improve on their recent performance, having earned only 7 points in their last 10 matches.

In their last match together, in Select Car Leasing Stadium, Reading and Nottingham Forest battled to a 1-1 draw. Philip Zinckernagel scored the first goal for Nottingham Forest in the 4th minute, then in the 64th minute, John Swift sent in a beautiful pass which was converted by Scott Dann earning Reading a comeback draw.

Lucas João has been on a hot streak lately. In the last five games, hes scored four goals for Reading. Nottingham Forest’s most prolific scorer has been Ryan Yates. He has netted 3 goals over the last five matches.
